I was born and raised right here in Ada, Ohio, home to Ohio Northern University. Having resided here in Ada for the past 39 years I have grown very fond of the University and have followed the football program from a very early age. I grew up playing sports, from baseball, to football and even a little basketball. As a teen my first love was always baseball but over time my passion and love for football has taken over leading me into my current journey now.
A little background on myself, I am a graduate of Ada High School. After high school I have held several different jobs ranging from factory work where I made footballs to owning my own electronics franchise store. I married my wife Courtney shortly after high school and together we have 5 wonderful and very active boys. My boys, Connor, Colby, Carter, Cooper, and KC all range in ages from 12 down to 6. Connor and Colby were our first. Yes twins right off the bat and they are currently in 6th grade and leaders on their football team. While their younger brother Carter just finished his second season last year and has already made a name for himself on the field as well.
I am also a graduate of Owens Community College. I graduated from there in 2012 with my Associates Degree in Business Management and went on to Tiffin University where I graduated in 2014 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Organizational Management. I started my Master’s program in the fall of 2014 and will graduate this December with my Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Sports Management. My goal is to become the Director of Football Operations at a Division I school. If that opportunity does not come I am also setting myself up to be able to become a High School Athletic Director. However, I would like to accomplish my goal. I have met every goal I’ve set and I do not want to stop now but I do understand that it is a tough business to break into and will not feel as if I’ve failed if I do not make it.
